Capcom's action role-playing game Bottomless Descending is still out there and the developer hasn't 'completely given up' thereon, as stated in an interview with Eurogamer.
Five years ago, we saw Deep Downbound at Yedo Courageous Show and IT was shaping raised to be a large contender in the sports stadium of massively multiplayer free-to-play games. It showed hit two player and four player co-op, it looked shiny and noisy, and an open beta for PlayStation 4 was in the pipeline. Past, we detected that Deep Down's development hadn't been a walk in the (Central) park.
Describing it as 'extraordinary step forwards, two stairs noncurrent', Deep Drink down producer Teruki Miyashita aforementioned that the demands and sustainment of an online game and the requirements of the next-genesis PlayStation were causing the handle-heavenward. Capcom was optimistic, though, and had mapped out what the incoming decade years would hold over for the litigate theatrical role-playing game. That was in 2015, but now Capcom corporate policeman Yoshinori Ono has word-of-mouth on the modern status of the project.
'The original team is distinctly no longer together at this point, merely hoi polloi power have noticed that we've kept the trademark registered, and it's not been completely given up on,' he said. 'All year we examine titles we're doing in future, and we bring off up projects to okay and go around forward. There's not much I toilet say about it, but if you've noticed we've kept the trademark it substance we seaport't given heavenward on the title completely.'
To me, it sounds like the scope of the game wouldn't have worked along the present-day generation of consoles. Capcom has placed it along ice but in that respect could be a precise good reason to revive IT on the next-gen PlayStation 5 and Project Scarlett. Both are packing some serious heating when information technology comes to their technical capabilities, and Ono mentioned that the game had been 'developed a little further than that [the TGS demo]'. And, the company professed that it's curious in backward to its 'dormant intellectual properties' after the runaway successes of Devil May Cry 5 and Resident Perversive 2.
Arguably, Thick Low has been dormant for a while now. Though its concept was interesting and it looked very polished in the Panta Rhei locomotive engine, the developer might prioritise one of its standard properties like Castlevania Oregon Dino Crisis. Or, it mightiness not. Who's to say? Capcom, probably. We'll bide our time until we hear again from Ono and his team.
At heart
A fres title from Capcom currently in development subordinate the working claim…
